The spark ignited in 2018 when four strangers from very different backgrounds found themselves united by one goal: to create authentic AI companionship that is accessible to everyone.

Our Founding Story

The seed of TronoVex was planted during a freezing winter in Reykjavik, Iceland. Johan, our visionary CEO and co-founder, had recently escaped a tumultuous childhood in rural Norway where harsh weather and scarce opportunities forced him to develop survival skills at an early age. Johan’s early years were spent trekking through snow-covered mountains just to reach school; an experience that taught him perseverance and the power of connection amidst isolation.

In Reykjavik’s cozy café, Johan met Leila, the brains behind our AI innovations. Leila had an extraordinary upbringing in the crowded bazaars of Marrakech, Morocco, where she learned to navigate complex social dynamics and bartering techniques from an early age. Her background in cognitive computing and natural language processing would become the backbone of TronoVex’s empathetic and deeply engaging AI characters.

Joining this dynamic duo was Miguel, our Chief Officer of Office Fun. Raised in the vibrant favelas of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Miguel’s life story is one of highs and lows—balancing street soccer championships with the challenge of limited access to education. His zest for life and creative energy now shape the user experience at TronoVex, turning routine interactions into playful, memorable moments.

Last but not least, Tamara, our Director of Emotional Intelligence, hails from a small village in the Swiss Alps. Growing up isolated, she developed intense empathy by caring for her ill grandmother and learning emotional resilience firsthand. Her background in psychology and user-centered design ensures that TronoVex’s AI companions genuinely understand and respond to the nuanced needs of each user.
